How others perceive the world.
niflr12 May 2006
This is a movie about how we perceive the world: By the ear or by the eye. It portrays the life of blind people in Paris and of a painter in the Swiss alps, following them through some everyday activities. There are a few contrast pieces of an amazing artistic group that combines light and sound.

The portrayal of the painter's life shows how he sees the visual beauty of the mountains. The portrayal of the blind people's life shows their auditive perception of the world. In one of the most powerful moments of the movie, the screen turns all black for some moments, but you just continue perceiving what's happening, completely adopting a blind person's world "view".
