Trivia:

The movie was released in Hong Kong in early January 2003, and featured a dubbed Cantonese soundtrack with many HK celebrities in the main roles. Most notably, Andy Lau was featured as the narrator of the Hong Kong version and Jordan Chan voiced bad guy Lang. In an amusing turn, Cecilia Cheung provided the voice of Raymond, the little boy. Other roles were filled out by Louis Koo, Lau Ching-Wan, Cherrie Ying, Chapman To, Michael Tse, Patrick Tam and Raymond Wong Ho-Yin.

Goofs:

Revealing mistakes: As Moloch is escaping from the guys outside the storage facility, he turns into his animal form. He then goes back to the hotel room, where Dr. Marco Leung is trying to work on a cure to his condition, and on a close up of Moloch you can see his real iris' behind the fake cat eye lenses he is wearing.

Cheesy but fun...for fans of the Guyver films

I expected the sequel to be pretty cheesy since Jet Li couldn't reprise the role he made legendary. It's like watching one of the Guyver films, only instead of the Guyver, you have Black Mask, played decently by newcomer Andy On. There always has to be one who thinks differently of everyone and if I am the only one, so be it!!! I liked Black Mask 2, even though I don't consider it a true sequel to the original. But as a fan of the Guyver films, I enjoyed it. If you liked the Guyver films, check out this film.
