A TV spot has arrived online ahead of the release of Brittany Murphy's final film, Something Wicked, and we have it for you right here. The film will be distributed in more than 70 theaters in Los Angeles and the surrounding area as well as Las Vegas, Nv, on September 12, 2014.

The hauntingly seductive thriller about obsession and young love gone wrong stars Shantel VanSanten (Gang Related, “One Tree Hill,” Final Destination), John Robinson (Big Sur, Lords of Dogtown), Julian Morris (“Once Upon a Time,” “Pretty Little Liars,” Valkyrie), James Patrick Stuart (“Supernatural,” “Hot in Cleveland”), and Brittany Murphy (8 Mile, Uptown Girls, Clueless).

Something Wicked is a Merchant Films production, directed by Darin Scott, written and produced by Joe Colleran. Merchant Films Releasing is distributing the film.

Her sad story comes to the small screen. A planned biopic about the late Brittany Murphy was confirmed by Lifetime on Tuesday, Aug. 12, to The Hollywood Reporter. It is the first film to be made about the actress' life since her death in December 2009 at age 32. The network announced that The Brittany Murphy Story will make its two-hour debut next month. Before she passed on at an all too young age, Brittany Murphy was carving herself quite the niche in the horror community. A trailer has finally arrived for her final film, Something Wicked, and we have it for you right here.

The long-awaited final film of the late actress Brittany Murphy will hit theaters beginning April 4, 2014. Something Wicked has been rated R and will debut in the Regal Cinemas in Eugene, Oregon (Valley River Center Stadium 15) on April 4 with more than 20 additional regional Regal Cinema theaters to follow weekly. A nationwide expansion will occur shortly after.

Brittany Murphy's 'Something Wicked' set to release four years after death

Washington, March 19: Brittany Murphy's last fim 'Something wicked' is set to release in April in Eugene, Oregon.

The film, which is directed by Darin Scott, comes four years after the 32-year-old actress died in December 2009 from pneumonia, anemia and multiple drug intoxication, People Magazine reported.

Producer Joe Colleran said that the 'Uptown Girls' star plays a psychiatrist and would describe her performance as the most chilling performance of her career.

The film also stars Shantel VanSanten, John Robinson, Julian Morris and James Patrick Stuart. (Ani) »
