“Jeepers Creepers” is a 2001 horror film written and directed by Victor Salva, and executive produced by Francis Ford Coppola, starring Gina Philips and Justin Long as a pair of siblings who become targets of a demonic creature known as The… Continue Reading → »
Wow,this franchise certainly does bring back memories for me. I can still recall the day I saw the poster for the originally Jeepers Creepers and was all like, "Oh, I've got to see that!" In all honestly, I thought the first two films were quite cool, and I wouldn't be entirely opposed to going another round with the Creeper so long as the trailer looks decent when it... Read More »

The original “Jeepers Creepers” was released in 2001, followed by a sequel, “Jeepers Creepers 2,” in 2003. The two movies centered on an ancient creature, known as “the Creeper,” which hunts for 23 days every 23rd spring for human body parts and organs. Myriad Pictures will finance the threequel.
“Jeepers Creepers 3” reunites the original creative team behind the first two films, including writer-director Victor Salva. Jonathan Breck will reprise his role as the Creeper and Brandon Smith returns as Sergeant Davis Tubbs.
Shaw plays the sheriff who is currently hunting the creature.
Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope, which produced the first two films, will co-produce along with Kirk Shaw and Surai Gohill’s Odyssey Media, and Stan Spry’s The Cartel. Coppola, Shaw and Spry will serve as producers and Myriad’s Kirk D’Amico will executive produce.

From the start, Jeepers Creepers 3 has been marred in controversy. And it's possible that controversy has lost the sequel a key cast member in the form of Adrienne Barbeau. Though she was included in the full cast breakdown for this upcoming horror movie, the scream queen is confirming that she is not participating in this tale of a monster who wants to collect a young man's eyeballs. She says this on her official Facebook.
"Contrary to what has been reported, I will not be joining the cast of Jeepers Creepers 3. It's a great script and if you liked the first two, you'll love this one."
Adrienne Barbeau was originally set to play a character named Gaylen Brandon. As you can see from her own admission, she has read the script, so at one point she was interested in joining this sequel. Bloody Disgusting report that their source, who is 100% reliable, »
A few weeks ago the full cast of Victor Salva’s Jeepers Creepers 3 revealed that the great Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog, Escape From New York, Swamp Thing, Creepshow) would be playing a character named ‘Gaylen Brandon’. Interestingly enough, Barbeau tells her Facebook following that she’s no longer appearing. Two things that I find immensely interesting: first, she has read the […] »

“Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral” is tentatively scheduled for release later this year, and a boycott of the upcoming horror film has already been called for. The move has been called for due to the fact that Victor Salva, the film’s writer/director, was convicted of sexual misconduct with a minor in 1988. Annie Swital has started a change.org petition calling on others to actively oppose the film on the grounds that “monsters belong on the screen, not behind the camera.”

“Jeepers Creepers 3 is currently in production. The director and creator of this franchise, Victor Salva, used his position to rape a 12 year old boy in 1988 during the filming of the movie Clownhouse. He was convicted and served a measly 15 months in prison. As the three »

Just a few days ago, production started on the highly-anticipated horror sequel Jeepers Creepers 3, which was previously known as Cathedral. The actually title has yet to be confirmed. There had been rumors that Gina Phillips, who starred in the first Jeepers Creepers as Trish Jenner, was returning, and that Ray Wise will reprise his role as Jack Taggert Sr. Today the full cast list has surfaced, confirming Gina Phillips' return, along with the franchise debut of genre legend Adrienne Barbeau.
Cinema Runner got a hold of the cast list, which reveals that Adrienne Barbeau is playing a character named Gaylen Brandon, although no details for her role were given. Gina Phillips is also coming back, along with the previously-confirmed Jonathan Breck as The Creeper himself. But this cast list doesn't include Ray Wise, so he's likely not coming back, unless it's in a surprise cameo.
The cast also includes Stan Shaw as Sheriff Tashtego, »

The original Jeepers Creepers came out way back in 2001 and helped revive the idea of creature feature horror movies. At the time, there were a lot of teen slashers like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer occupying the box office. Jeepers Creepers 2 followed a couple of years later. Despite the fact that both movies were successful, a third installment never managed to get going. That changes now because Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral has officially started filming.
According to a report from Bloody Disgusting, Jeepers Creepers 3 has officially started production in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Director Victor Salva, who helmed the first two installments, is returning to the director's chair this time around. Jonathan Breck is also expected to reprise his role as the Creeper. Recently, it was reported that Gina Phillips' character Trish, who was one of the main characters in the first Jeepers Creepers alongside »

To begin, we must acknowledge a painful fact: omnibus features are only as strong as their weakest link, and it’s clear that production company Xyz Films learned from its past. Xx, thankfully better than the company’s recent Holidays, features four female-directed psychological horror shorts that in large part take on motherhood, domestic life, and parenting. Perhaps it should have stopped there, with two strong stand-outs (Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent, with The Birthday Party, and Karyn Kusama’s Her Only Living Son), the decent The Box (by Jovanka Vuckovic), and the weak link, Roxanne Benjamin’s Don’t Fall. It was as if the best three followed a carefully prescribed assignment; Don’t Fall attempts to jam a feature’s worth of suspense into a short that needed a lot more build-up. Also at odds with the tone is Sofia Carrillo’s beautiful, gothic interstitials of cracked porcelain »

It’s undeniable that prequel comics that tie into franchises in other media are steadily becoming a bigger deal. Case in point, a still young 2017 has already seen the likes of 24: Legacy and Riverdale penciled in to get that very treatment. And, much like those two, the same could be said for The Great Wall: Last Survivor, the subject of today’s review.
Set sixty years before the events depicted in The Great Wall, the upcoming major motion picture starring Matt Damon and Willem Dafoe, The Last Survivor chronicles the journey of a young man named Bao, seamlessly blending history, mythology and fantasy. So, if you happen to be a fan of any of those topics – or a combination of the three – this is something you may want to give a look.
Speaking of taking a gander at the content, it must be said that artist Gian Fernando »

Hollywood is pretty sequel and franchise happy right now, so a lot of long-awaited follow-ups to aging movies are on the way. One of these long-delayed sequels is Jeepers Creepers 3, which has a had a tough road to production but seems to finally be getting some real traction and is reportedly shooting as early as next month. Now, we have a new synopsis for the movie that reveals some story details that tie Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral to the events of the original.
The new synopsis comes courtesy of Bloody Disgusting, who uncovered it via a casting call. As has been reported previously, Gina Phillips will be reprising her role as Trish from the first Jeepers Creepers. Assuming this synopsis is correct, in Jeepers Creepers 3, Trish is now raising a son and will actually be going after the Creeper herself in order to stop the monster for good. Here is the synopsis. »
Back in March 2016, we reported that the long-gestating Jeepers Creepers 3 is finally happening, with original Jeepers Creepers star Gina Philips being eyed to return. Director Victor Salva, who wrote and directed Jeepers Creepers and Jeepers Creepers 2, was back to direct with an April 2016 shoot lined up in Vancouver, but that shoot never happened. Today we have word that the sequel is back on track yet again, with the production shifting to Louisiana and filming set to begin next month.
Bloody-Disgusting reports that Victor Salva is returning to write and direct, but it hasn't been confirmed if Gina Phillips is still coming back to reprise her role as Trish from the first Jeepers Creepers. An earlier report in September 2014 revealed that Jonathan Breck will return as The Creeper with Brandon Smith also reprising his role as Sergeant Davis Tubbs from the first movie, but their return has yet to be confirmed. »
