When an unusually intelligent dinosaur unexpectedly hatches from a fossilized egg in present-day California, a friendly group of human teenagers adopts him and teaches him how to hide from prying eyes and master skateboarding.
I watched the whole series again recently. I can't believe how much more I understand 25 years after the first time seeing it. Dam I was a dumb kid! Rich in symbolism and analogies to the real world, there is nothing being "preached". I learned as we feel, letting that faintly touchy feeling slowly reach me and evoke deep thinking. That sentiment for conscience and innocence came back to me as I watched. I definitely recommend it to people of all ages. I mean, if you are an adult and you are feeling down, this is certainly something that's gonna light up your day. I don't think any other so-called "for-girls" Japanese anime would be able to surpass the achievement of this one. Especially those made in the 90s are just shallow, cheesy, emotionally exaggerating and too far from reality comparing to this one.
