Josephine V. Clark,
Imagine this: a porno movie without the sex! The same kind of acting and script except it doesn't have any sex scenes. Well this is Outlaw!
Maybe im being mean. to the porno flicks. I mean Ron Jeremy sure acts better that everybody in this movie and ive seen much better plots than Outlaw has in many pornos.
There's nothing this movie has that could possibly entertain you. Its not campy or in the `so bad its good' category. Forget that.
Also dont get fooled by the cast. Michael Madsen is one of the coolest actors around but his performance is painful. If you're a fan of the man (like I am) do yourself a favor and don't watch this because there's a big chance you'll never be able to enjoy his work again.
The plot is awful. Conner is a hit man. A mob boss gets `wacked'. His son, played by William Forsythe (another porno performance) hires Conner to find out who did it. He'll pay him a million dollars if he does it in fourty eight hours! If he refuses or takes longer he´s dead. I'm not exactly sure about the money or the hours because by now I was already scared at the sad spectacle before me.
The story might not seem bad even if unoriginal. But it stops there. The rest is illogical with Conner basically running around doing nothing. The dialogues are so bad they're not even laughable. And the acting. my God how can this be????
Outlaw really is one of the worst movies I ever saw and I don't say this often. There's usually something to take out of every movie no matter how bad it is. Either its funny or it has some good acting or enjoyable action scenes. Hey even the girls aren't hot!
Outlaw has nothing. No logic, no fun, just a big piece of cinematic trash.
I fail to see how this could ever get financed. I've seen much better unproduced scripts on the Internet.
Anyway skip this at all costs. It's a shame Madsen is in this garbage.
