Quotes
Chang Wufei:
I do not accept Relena Peacecraft's ways. Her belief that peace is obtained by throwing away weapons and confining soldiers is wrong.
Heero:
So that's why you're allowing Mariemaia's autocracy?
Chang Wufei:
That's where the souls who fight gather!
[
Nataku strikes and hits Wing Gundam Zero]
Heero:
That maybe ok for now but Mariemaia will end up repeating history, the history full of miserable battles. Unless we stop this process now more soldiers like ourselves will become nessescary. If that happens history will continue ...

Endless Waltz is a pretty good conclusion to Gundam Wing. Since it was made two years later(Gundam Wing was released in 95, EW in 97) and on a higher budget(Since this is a video), it obviously looks more impressive than the variable animation of the television series. While the mecha animation is pretty good, it isn't up to 0083(1991)or 08th MS team(1997) a fault which I think is probably due to the director. The mechas from the series have redesigned and are now even more super-robotish; but now instead of looking like eyesores, they look aesthetically pleasing. Anyway, EW takes place about one year after Gundam Wing, and the mobile suits from the series-including the Gundams-are being dismantled to make way for a new, peaceful era. But a new enemy emerges, one with both a connection to the original plan for the Gundam's mission and also Trieze Kushrenada, the dictator from Wing. So when the peace-preaching Relena gets kidnapped, Heero and pals need to retrieve their Gundams and fight one more battle for peace. In some ways, the stories is equal parts prequel and sequel, since we get glimpses into the pasts of the G-boys and their original purpose. Anyway, Gundam Wing:Endless Waltz is a pretty good way to spend an hour and a half, even if you disliked the show.
