Two Problems
boblipton15 April 2024
This Encyclopedia Britannica short film discusses how complementary and similar colors can affect the viewer's perception of an object.

There are several problems with this short. First, there are a number of unexplained terms that are used without any explanations. I understand the terms "additive color" and "subtractive color" when it comes to images; but after a beginning in which additive colors are used without any explanation, we are told they are additive, as opposed to subtractive. Someone unfamiliar with those terms will be confused.

The other is a matter of the copy I looked at. There are several different colors, we are told, but I couldn't see them. Somehow a green fog extends over the entire movie.
