Channel 5's (superior) answer to Big Brother
14 March 2005 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I'll not beat around the bush here, this is the only reality television show that has had me hooked night and day.

The contestants were locked inside a very secure prison, and the object of the show was to escape, thus winning a prize of £100,000. The contestants from day 1 set about planning various escapes that on the evening just fell through as they got caught.

I think the fact that there was something that was going to happen (as opposed to Big Brother's monotony that is just sitting around all day) that made this a better show, but the lack of marketing for it, and the uber 'trendyness' that Big Brother had (a Paul Okenfold soundtrack for instance) that killed it off.

If you can acquire this one was or another, then I would suggest that you pick it up.
