It's Diddy’s Birthday, So He’s Gifted Fans With a Free New Album, Mmm

4 November 2015 11:54 AM, PST | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

What do you get the man who has everything for his birthday? Nothing at all! In honor of Diddy's 46th birthday (which he's decided to celebrate on the actual day of his birth this year), he's released his new "sonic motion picture," Mmm (a reference to Money Making Mitch from Paid in Full), completely for free. It doesn't include the Pharrell-featuring "Finna Get Loose" (that one is likely still reserved for No Way Out 2), but it does feature a who's who of rap: Future, Big Sean, Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, Styles P, French Montana, Jadakiss, Wiz Khalifa, King Los, and even Lil’ Kim. Let's all raise a glass of Ciroc for Diddy and stream the whole thing below. »

Kevin Carroll on The Leftovers: ‘I Don’t Know the Last Time I’ve Seen a Character of Color This Complex’

25 October 2015 7:00 PM, PDT | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

Thanks to The Leftovers, theater vet (The Piano Lesson, A Raisin in the Sun), and Obie-award winning actor (Home) Kevin Carroll is getting plaudits from an entirely new audience with his portrayal of John Murphy, Miracle’s devoted family man, ex-felon-fire chief, and self-appointed enforcer. The journeyman actor, who’s done some movies (Paid in Full, Being John Malkovich) and TV (Survivor's Remorse, Law & Order), says he’s been spoiled by his stage roles, and feels “a sense of relief” now that a complex TV character of color has come his way. Oh, and he really regrets ever mentioning he’d never seen the show! After a long day of press, Carroll spoke with Vulture about the books on John’s nightstand, and why the role is such a breath of fresh air.Congrats on killing it in this part. You’ve said you didn’t have HBO, and didn »

Ratner and John Cheng will produce for RatPac Entertainment. Adam Brawer and David Beitchman will produce for Sentinel Pictures. Agustine Calderon will serve as a co-producer.

Kseniya is a young European woman fleeing the high-end call girl ring she was recently forced into and Rob is a young American man with a tragic past.

The heavy coats, the stern stares, the afro, the darkness that surrounds them, the gun!
