Run Ronnie Run is a heart warming spin-off from the cult hit HBO series "Mr. Show". It is the story of Ronwell Quincy Dobbs (David Cross), who has a unique talent for getting arrest. A British television personality, Terry Twillstein (Bob Odenkirk), gets sight of Ronnie and brings Ronnie to Hollywood to get him his own TV show. Ronnie must then deal with his new life, while having to deal with missing his ex-wife that he left back home. This is a delightful comedy with countless celebrity cameos by Dave Foley, Jeff Goldblum, and Jack Black just to name a few. As well as many appearances by characters for the hit television series "Mr. Show". Written by The Fuzz

Crazy Credits

During the ending credits, "outtakes" are seen. All these "outtakes" are spoofs of outtakes from Jackie Chan movies. For example, after each "injury" four Asian men in red jumpsuits run out to help the "injured" (similar to many Jackie Chan movies,) and the "outtake" ends with the "injured" person giving a thumbs up to the camera while on a stretcher (a la Jackie Chan.) User Reviews

great offbeat comedy, well-executed
4 May 2004 | by (los angeles, usa) – See all my reviews

This is a great little comedy with fantastic bits of humor you have to pay attention to get. If you enjoy earning your fun, this is your idea of a good time. All of the actors are the sharpest on the comedy scene today, and all are nailing their bits to the wall. The movie has a nice little story, too. This should be on your shelf, next to "Guffman" and all that. Also, if you love a good cameo, this is for you. It's easier to say who DOESN'T make an appearance, which shows you just how much respect the people who made this movie garner from the comedy community. David and Bob are on fire, as usual, and all the "Mr. Show" supporting cast are on the money.
