The Best Game Ever!

10/10

This game is the BEST there has been since 007 Golden Eye came out in Nintendo 64. I love the series. The story line is great and it will make you want to play it until the end just like a great book you are into. I have all three series.

This game ROCKS!!

Syphon Filter came as a bit of a surprise. I had just finished "Metal Gear Solid" and I was urging for more spy-action. Well, Syphon Filter is not as good as MGS, but comparing the two games isn`t quite fair. Syphon Filter is a more actionpacked experience than MGS, but the voice-overs, graphics and so on isn`t quite up to MGS`s standard. The game is a lot of fun to play, but can sometimes be hard to control. Syphon Filter does also have some stealth-levels like in MGS. The game can sometimes be VERY HARD, but therefore it`ll last you longer than MGS did, and is satisfying to finally complete a hard level. This game is much more violent than MGS, but MGS was a much more stylish experience with a kick-ass plot, excellent atmosphere and good vioce overs. The graphical detail in Syphon Filter have been kept down to make the game move faster and to avoid that dreadful slow-down that plagues many other games. Okay, the plot can be a bit cheesy, but Syphon Filter is a lot of fun. If you`d like to know which game to buy of MGS and Syphon Filter, I`d say go buy both games. It is quite affordable now since both games can be picked up cheaply. 9,5/10

impressive game

This game grips you when you first play it. You feel you are in a hi octane thriller in which you are the star. The game has stealth levels and mainly action levels and they are tough especially the helicopter boss level. I got stuck and helplessly tired of trying that i got the cheat code out.The exhibit level is stealth for a short while but the action begins soon after. The music for this level is top notch the change of tune in accordance to the action make the game play far more enjoyable and overall this game is brilliant but its has its moments of frustration. The cut scenes are excellent and movie type and some great acting from the characters. The pre boss dialogue of Anton Goudeux at the Washington memorial and the music that follows is gripping and its embedded in your consciouness for a long time afterwards. The handling is easy enough the control of the game is comfortable. Its a one path game so once completed you may take your time coming back to it.

Fun, and enjoyable

8/10

a great spy thriller and excellent gameplay make this worth the $19.99 you will pay for it. The Sequal is a little better, but this is a great game. One piece of advice though: don't just play this game over and over and over again, you WILL get tired of it eventually.
