Storyline

Mukundan (Mohanlal) got permanent status at his job, and things are starting to look good. But then his old college classmate Viswanath (Srinivasan) comes into his life, after many years and things start going straight downhill. Viswanath cons his way into stealing money from a lot of Mohanlal's neighbors, and even tricks his way into a job at Mohanlal's workplace by lying to Mohanlal's boss . Viswanath tricks Mohanlal into helping him get more money ,which causes Mohanlal to loose his job and get arrested. Viswanath even steals the woman Mohanlal loves , Sumitra and plans to marry her , by tricking her family into thinking he is rich. But eventually the truth catches up.

Excellent Movie

The deadly combination of Mohanlal (Mukandan) and Sreenivasan rocks the screen in this movie. Mohanlal plays the role of a middle class guy who just got permanent in his job. He lives in a small colony where there's a water shortage problem and the people struggle to make ends meet. Mohanlal is all set to declare his love to Renjini (Sumithra) when his friend Sreenivasan enters the picture. Sreenivasan plays a prank/conman who tries to acquire money from any medium possible. How Sreenivasan cleverly tricks Mohanlal and becomes the supreme person in the colony is portrayed in the movie. Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Jagadhy and Thikkursi Sukumaran Nair chip in with wonderful performances and the movie is all set to entertain audiences.
