This movie is typical of the Shades of Love series, not bad but not great either. I've seen many of them and have to say that I preferred Linda Smith in her role in 'The Rose Cafe' over this one. There didn't seem to be the same chemistry between her and Duncan Regehr as there was with Parker Stevenson. I generally like Duncan's work but in this instance he seemed a bit stiff and couldn't quite pull off the Italian accent. The story was interesting but there were a few scenes where it seemed a bit far fetched as to the lengths a lawyer would go to get evidence for their case. I am a romantic at heart but I just couldn't give this movie a good rating. I'd instead recommend others from this series like Champagne for Two or The Rose Cafe.
