Four kids in a little gang, like Dennis the Menace' gang, take a disliking to the new kid in town and make a pledge to unite and tease him and torment him. Gradually one by one, he wins them over, and they never admit it to each other. First the rich girl of the group is pressured into drawing ugly pictures of him, which he finds in her garbage can when he gets over to her house, thinking they are friends. Then the latino kid in the group is surprised to hear the new kid speak fluent spanish. Kim Richards, the leader, is the last holdout, but finally she relents when they lose him in the woods, but they may be too late. Incredibly decently done After School Special before morals and lessons overtook the show. This one hinted at 'be nice to new people' but it was done in an entertaining, almost adventuresome manner. This was Kim Richards at her finest. I would love to see this program again and have it on video. Brilliant music piece when the kids would be doing their united hand shake and always slap out the little guy's hand as he wasn't a full fledged member yet. And the worms on the doorway! It was the child's version of the Godfather's horsehead in the bed!
