When a ship sinks off the coast of Argentina, Ellen Brachman, a clever and ambitious claims assessor for the Rotterdam marine-insurance company European Hayward, suspects a 'sinker'. In an attempt to prove the 58 million dollar claim on the ship is false, she flies to Argentina and becomes embroiled in a dangerous web of deceit, lies, murder and lost love. Written by Anonymous
Boring, boring, boring...nothing happens in this seriously boring film... Whoever wrote the script to this film must have had one of his most uninspiring moments in life. The story in itself could have been a good one but I just couldn't find it in me to develop any interest in neither the characters, the environment nor the story. Not even Billy Zane can pick this film up, even though he's not one of the greatest actors of our time, at least he has some charisma... In this film however there is no sign of it anywhere. And Louis Lombard just walks around like a "pretty girl" pretending to be clever. She should stick to acting in English television series. So whatever you do, don't spoil a perfectly good day or evening, and please don't spend any money, watching this rubbish!
