I didn't expect to like this movie, but I caught it at a film festival and was surprised. The acting was excellent and subtle. The cinematography was stunning. Very classic compositions (not music video style at all) and dramatic color and lighting. The music was great. At times the movie felt a bit uneven as certain scenes weren't as strong as others. Despite this, the acting and story built nicely and ultimately created a very emotional movie.
The movie is about Dave and his wife facing a difficult time in their marriage. (They can't have kids.) He decides an affair will solve things. He and his buddy head out to a mens group so he can gather up the courage to go through with it. A sad and funny premise.
