a review by Tugba Aslan (istanbul bilgi university)
it's my favorite Turkish film. it's a love story between Filiz Akin, Tarik Akan, Hulusi Kentmen, Zeki Alasya and Metin Akpinar. The most important characters are Akin and Akan. Tarik is the best scorer basketball player of his team and is very popular. One day he comes to a village with his team to do entreman. There, he met the village teacher, Emine. He loves her very much and they get married immediately. But, some days after he had to return to istanbul. He wants Emine to go to istanbul with him but she says that she can't leave the village and her students. So, he returns to istanbul but promises to return to her village after his matches. He doesn't return. One day she wants to know what is happening and goes to istanbul. She finds out that he never told his family of her, and he is going out with someone else. She is upset and wants to make him jealous. She says her name is 'mine'. She tells him that Emine is her twin sister. She looks very modern. So, she is different from Emine because of her modernness. First he likes it but then understands that he loves Emine because she is natural. immediately he returns to the village to live with Emine.
