Storyline

Teenager Abby Stewart is an ordinary girl living with her parents and little sister in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, in 1777. When the army camps near her home, Abby is eager to meet the soldiers. She joins Martha Washington in visiting the encampment and learns firsthand about the horrors of the war.
