A Fine Piece of Work
9 February 2001 | by (Los Angeles,CA) – See all my reviews

I recently saw this film at the Hollywood Black Film Festival. I must say that it was an excellent film about the struggle to make it as a rap singer. The lead character Mike(Tyrone Gibson) gave the viewer what a rappers attitude and demeaner really are, quite and confused in private but powerful on stage. The supporting cast was wonderful and powerful as well. I am very selective about films and I must say this is one of the greatest hip-hop films since Def Jam's "The Show". Great work Mr.Jones
