Storyline

Live action TV series based on Disney's classic Dumbo, an elephant with the ability to fly (with the help of his trusty feather). The characters were all costumes (with the help of 'puppetronics', I believe, radio-controlled mechanisms pioneered by Jim Henson's "Fraggle Rock" and Disney's "Welcome to Pooh Corner". This series didn't produce too many episodes but ran for quite a while and was pretty popular for a cable series. Written by The Puppet Avenger

Great kids show with live action characters like Dumbo.

I use to watch this show when I was young. It stars Dumbo as a live action huge puppet. It was life size with people inside the costumes. Other characters include the ringmaster, a bear, a goofy dog as the clown/magicion, Lilly a cat who does most of the actual tricks like trapeeze. There was also a ape who did cannonball and some other characters. there is always songs in the show and good clean themes. it ends each time with a side show with various small songs and moral lessons. Though out dated for todays kids was great in its time.
