NEW YORK -- It didn't exactly equal Susan Lucci's record for futility, but ABC's The View had failed to win a Daytime Emmy Award for five straight seasons. That changed Friday at Radio City Music Hall. View and the syndicated The Wayne Brady Show shared the best talk show prize at the 30th annual Daytime Emmys, which for the first time expanded to a three-hour telecast on ABC. Other winners included CBS' As the World Turns for best daytime drama, Susan Flannery of CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful for best drama actress -- her fourth Emmy -- and Maurice Benard of ABC's General Hospital for best drama actor, his first award. Brady hosted the ceremony, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. »
