After 58 years of Popeye and Bluto fighting over Olive Oyl, they've all decided to finally settle down and start families. Popeye and Olive got married and had a son who hates spinach. Bluto also got married and had a son who's a bully to Popeye's kid. Wimpy has also started his own burger chain and tries his best to refrain from eating his own burgers. Written by

Popeye and Olive Oyl are married and have a son, Popeye Jr., also known as Junior. Bluto got married too and had a son, Tank, who bullies around Junior. All the original Popeye characters are here, except for Swee'Pea. I guess now that they had Junior, they didn't need him anymore. Wimpy runs the burger stand at the beach and he mostly eats his own confections. Eugene the Jeep is here too. He snatched orchids in one episode. Popeye and his friends still got into all sorts of trouble. Something interesting: Junior hated spinach! Even Poopdeck Pappy was there! In one episode, atleast. He may have been an old salt, but he proved very brave when rescuing Junior and his friends. With Olive Oyl as chaperone, they went on a field trip into the hills and met with a bear, who attacked their bus as they tried to get away, but the engine wouldn't turn over. Pappy turned the bear into a throw-rug, dignity- wise. That's the episode that's most memorable. Other episodes include Popeye and Junior using spinach power to get the house spotless while Olive was away. Yeah, it was a pretty good show. Since 1929 we've watched Popeye and Bluto battle one another over Olive Oyl and now, finally, Popeye had settled down with her. Might I add that the 1980's Popeye cartoons toned down violence so they were quite wimpy! Remember how Popeye would chug down his spinach and punch Bluto over a mile away. Well he doesn't punch anymore! That's not right, I always thought. If it's self defense, you gotta give it all you got. But in conclusion, if you're a Popeye fan, and if you can find it, which may very well prove to be impossible, I urge you to check out Popeye and Son.
