"Big Brother" (2000/II) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

6/10 Men are often shirtless in swim trunks. Women also wear bikinis. Occasional pixelated nudity. Occasional references to sex, but nothing too bad. There are some kissing and making out scenes, but things don't usually get graphic.

Violence & Gore

4/10 There usually isn't much violence, but some seasons have someone get expelled because of violent behavior. Quiet often, the contestants get into(verbal) fights. These fights can get very heated and will often last through many episodes. In season 15, Big Brother had to put a disclaimer at the beginning of every episode, due to racial and homophobic slurs. There caused lots of controversy.

Profanity

6/10 Words like "ass", "piss", "bitch", "bastard", "damn", and "hell" are occasionally dropped. There are sometimes censored usages of words like "fuck", "shit", "douche-bag", and "cunt". Some episodes are also aired live and there could be an accidental swear word. On the after dark episodes, more vulgar language goes un-bleeped.

5/10 The HouseGuests are often shown drinking champagne, beer, and wine.

6/10 Sometimes things can get dramatic. People can yell at each other and get close to fighting.

Overall 28/50. Honestly a mature twelve-year-old could handle it. I've been watching it since I was 9.
