With the recent release of Tom Clancy’s The Division by Ubisoft and the news that Jake Gyllenhaal will produce and star in a movie based on the game we decided to speak with a person whom is very familiar with Tom Clancy’s work, composer Bill Brown. Brown began his career scoring Clancy’s Rainbow Six in 1998 and since then scored eight more Clancy games along with many other projects such as CSI: NY and Season 2 of Dominion. In this interview Bill discusses his time working on Clancy’s games along with releasing 2 never before heard demo tracks from Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Raven Shield was released in 2003. What differences in the game do you think there would be if it was released today, in 2016?

I’ve heard that politically / diplomatically they would have to handle it differently today. All of that is above my pay grade though. »

13 More Interpromotional Dream Wrestling Matches We Must See

24 February 2016 8:07 AM, PST | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

El Rey Network/WWE.com

Back in November, I wrote an article that looked at just how permeable the walls between the world’s biggest wrestling promotions had become. Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa and New Japan legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger showed up to wrestle in Nxt. Alberto Del Rio, then the reigning Aaa Mega Champion, showed up on WWE television and pinned United States Champion John Cena.

You’d think that was the climax, but no.

On the heels of New Japan’s WrestleKingdom 10, another international shake-up occurred as WWE lured away four of that promotion’s top stars. Aj Styles has already made an impact in WWE, while Shinsuke Nakamura is Nxt-bound and a healthy fraction of the Bullet Club are waiting in the wings.

Simply put, the matches on this list aren’t mere fantasy anymore. The time-honored smark tradition of hypothetically matching up rivals from different promotions »

27 Wtf Moments From Njpw New Beginning In Osaka 2016

Njpw World

It’s that time of the year again, for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s The New Beginning pay-per-view series, beginning with February 11th’s Osaka show, which was headlined by Kazuchika Okada defending the Iwgp Heavyweight Championship against Hirooki Goto. Whether you’re a hardcore Njpw fan or a newbie who only started watching after hearing all that buzz about Wrestle Kingdom 10, it’s time to check out the hilarity, the eccentricity and the stiff moves that make the company what it is.

A rock solid show on the whole as fans should expect from Njpw, the bigger matches may have had their thunder stolen somewhat by the fantastic Iwgp Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship match, but duds were in short supply, and high-octane action was at a sure high. From some savage near-finishes to insane low blows, very rude words and everything in-between, here are 27 Wtf moments »

21 Wtf Moments From WCW Nitro (Jan 12th, 1998)

WWE Network

Back in 1997, the new World order were a happy bunch, taking over WCW, winning all the titles and generally making all the babyfaces’ lives a misery.

But after the fallout from Starrcade 1997 and last week’s Nitro Wtf Moments from the January 5th, 1998 episode where Savage inadvertently knocked out Bischoff, causing Savage to slap Hogan for questioning him which led to Nash laying out the Macho Man, this was going to be an interesting episode to view and dissect.

On the January 12th, 1998 edition of Monday Nitro we see the new World order try to become a united front again in the battle for WCW. On the debut edition of Thunder, Jj Dillon stripped Sting of the WCW World Title and the belt is vacant until the big grudge match with Sting and Hollywood Hogan to determine the Undisputed WCW Champion. That match will take place at Superbrawl in about six weeks. »

Rise Of The Tomb Raider And The Witcher III Headline Finalists For Dice Awards 2016

13 January 2016 10:02 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Another year, another slew of pixelated pretenders to the throne. Ahead of the event taking place on February 18, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has locked down the list of finalists nominated for the 19th annual Dice awards ceremony.

Pinpointing the crème de la crème, the prestigious company has nominated 53 games in total, a star-studded list toplined by Rise of the Tomb Raider and CD Projekt Red’s critically-adorned masterpiece The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, with the pair topping the pack with eight nominations a piece. You can check out the full list below.

There are also plans in place to posthumously commemorate the late, great Saturo Iwata with the Lifetime Achievement Award, a prestigious award that has only been handed out to five other talents in the industry: Bing Gordon (EA founder), Doug Lowenstein (Esa founder), Ken Kutaragi (former PlayStation president), Minoru Arakawa (former Nintendo of America president), and »

Video: Cate Blanchett Jokes Her Thor: Ragnarok Role Is The New Goddess Of Thunder

11 January 2016 5:25 AM, PST | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

We’re still waiting for Marvel Studios to at least acknowledge that Thor: Ragnarok will be directed by Taika Waititi, let alone that it will likely star two-time Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett. However, the actress has been further pressed about her mystery role in the 2017 threequel. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Blanchett was asked flat-out if she’s in Ragnarok, to which she made the revelation that she’ll be taking over for fellow Aussie Chris Hemsworth as the God(dess) of Thunder. Obviously, she’s joking (or is she?), but watch below to see for yourself. Skip To 1:55 Mark We’re almost certain Cate Blanchett will be playing a supervillain in Thor: Ragnarok, especially given what her prospective co-star Mark Ruffalo said of her potential casting. And also the fact that Marvel typically casts big-name veteran actors as villains if not the lead superhero. However, there »
