Storyline

In the 21st Century, the "Corporation" sends a spaceship to dispose of earth's severe nuclear waste to a distant region in the cosmos. The astronauts awaken from their "cryo-sleep" to truly cry over finding themselves marooned... their fuel is not sufficient to bring them back home. The shuttle craft on board that can accommodate no more than two passengers presents the only hope, and soon a "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" type of distrust and betrayal sets in, until one by one, only one sole survivor remains. not bad sci fi
8 October 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

hyperspace is one of those made for video movies, its not bad though predictable,i picked this up in the bargain bin at fye!with 2 dvds for $2.99 the other being something called cybernator, which doesn't look all that good, but ill have to watch it on a boring day.anyway the cast of hyperspace is good;Richard Norton,Lynn holly Johnson, don stroud,James van Patton, and Ron o'Neal(super-fly himself)the movie is about a huge space ship that gets lost in space during a computer malfunction, and the crews efforts to get back to earth.the plot is almost like alien, without the alien.the budget is low and looks like a Roger Corman produced movie but it is'nt.but hyperspace is far better then most of the made for video efforts that came out in the 80's.i guess I'm a sucker for any movie that has pretty blonde Lynn holly Johnson in it.5 out of 10.
