Many episodes contain sex scenes; however, they are milder than sex scenes shown in most HBO shows

Sex scenes are sometimes not as graphic throughout the series as others, but others can be quite graphic, with nudity and rhythmic moaning.

Violence & Gore


Every episode begins with a death/deaths. Not very gory but still can be disturbing. In one episode, a man is cut in half by an elevator. His corpse is shown later. A young gay man gets beaten death. Not much is shown, but it is very upsetting. David Gets car jacked by a disturbed individual in one episode.

There are violent images and sequences of murder and accident scenes that would warrant an R rating, bloody and disturbing.



Frequent uses of the F-word. occasional use of the C-word. Some offensive terms about sexuality.

There is profanity in every episode, sometimes pervasively so, mostly the F-word.

Lots of characters smoke weed and drink reguarly. occasional use of hard drugs eg. Ecstasy, cocaine, crystal meth.
