Storyline
The show follows a young single mother raising two high school-age boys in Los Angeles while juggling multiple minimum-wage jobs. Masterson's character is stiffed on a paycheck and subsequently referred to a local nonprofit advocacy center for help in making her employer pay up. I was curious the first time I saw the previews for Kate Brasher because I would love to have a job like she has so I checked it out. I love it! It is a very real show and I think Mary Stuart Masterson is a wonderful actress. Not to mention the guys playing her sons are cute. I hope that they don't cancel this show. They could put it in a diffrent time frame. I am NOT watching Walker next Saturday and will be wishing that Kate was on instead of Walker.
