They don't 'em this way any more
2 May 2002 | by (New York City) – See all my reviews

A decent but unremarkable slapstick comedy, full of absurd exaggerations, some funny gags and little more. The theaters used to be full of this, but somehow audiences stopped caring for them in the sound era and this sort of humor found its final resting place in Warner Brothers cartoons. Now they don't even know how to make those right any more. Sad really, but looking at this shows you how it can be done.
