I really hate it when they make a mythological or movie with religious connotation which is not well researched and thought upon. They just use the dialogues which are just natural translation of the scripture which themselves misses the mark greatly. The story as we all know from the mythology is about a child prahlad who despite all his father's obstacles remains a lifelong Vishnu devotee to the degree that his father in spite of his immortality boons faces death and defeat from the unending devotion of his child and got killed by the Vishnu himself and so the story goes which doesn't make much of a sense but once seen from the right perspective (which I leave to the viewer to think upon) everything makes sense . The amusing parts of the movies are the acting for the role of hiranayakashyap and narada. The laughs of asuras are as good as ever and the director left no effort to show the devotion of the protagonist. The movie hardly had any good scenes or soundtracks/songs. There are few scenes though that i would surely enjoy watching once more for the sake of it and for the philosophical insights i had from the epic story itself. So, the movie didn't turn out to be a waste of time and compared to other versions of prahlad movies both animated and non-animated this was better. Overall it might be a not so bad movie to enter into hindu mythology but one shouldn't stop just there.
