Sony Classical announces the release of Goodbye Christopher Robin (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) with an original score by Academy Award®-nominated composer Carter Burwell.

The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 13 and on CD on October 27, 2017. The film will be released in the Us on October 13, 2017.

Pre-order here.

Goodbye Christopher Robin is directed by Simon Curtis (My Week with Marilyn, Woman in Gold) and will be released in Us theaters by Fox Searchlight Pictures on October 13, 2017.

Carter Burwell said about the score:

“One of the riskier decisions Simon Curtis and I made with the score was to withhold the main theme until the middle of the film, when A. A. Milne begins to write and his friend Ernest Shepard begins to illustrate “Winnie The Pooh”. We did this to make that moment especially noteworthy, to make it the turning point of the story. Before that point, the music plays

‘Loving Pablo’ Director on Reuniting Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz: ‘It’s Been Very Intense’
Loving Pablo” — starring Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, whose last on-screen romantic relationship was in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” for which Cruz won an Oscar — also marks the reunion of Spanish director Fernando León de Aranoa and Bardem, whose performance in León’s 2002 Goya-sweeping dramedy “Mondays in the Sun” served as confirmation, if it were needed after “Before Night Falls,” of Bardem’s acting range. Coming after León’s 2015 “A Perfect Day,” a Cannes Directors’ Fortnight player starring Benicio del Toro and Tim Robbins, “Loving Pablo” is a film León and Bardem have wanted to make for more than 14 years.

What will audiences find in this new take on drug lord Pablo Escobar?

The movie offers Pablo Escobar’s story, focused on his 10 years facing extradition. This is told from the perspective of Virginia Vallejo, a journalist who had a close relationship with Escobar and provides highly intimate access to Escobar’s mind.

Willem Dafoe as Vincent Van Gogh in ‘At Eternity’s Gate’: Julian Schnabel Gives Us An Exclusive First Look
If anyone can show us something we haven’t seen before about Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh, it’s Oscar-nominated painter-filmmaker Julian Schnabel, who announced at Cannes that he will direct “At Eternity’s Gate” starring Willem Dafoe (who also stars in Director’s Fortnight entry “The Florida Project”) as the world’s most acclaimed Post-Impressionist painter, who died at age 37 before he was recognized for his gifts.

“I’ve been working on it for a couple of years,” said Schnabel on the phone from Montauk. “It has to do with trying to make a work of art. By making a film about him, I might shed a little light on what it is to be doing what he’s doing, who he really was, and what his issues were, what somebody needed to do to do what he did, and what he’s not going to do.”

Review: ‘Julian Schnabel: A Private Portrait’ is a Broad Overview of the Artist

Executive produced by its subject, Julian Schnabel: A Private Portrait offers access to the painter, filmmaker, and amateur extreme sportsman with commentary about his work offered up by friends, collaborators, family members, and ex-wives, who all have nice and insightful things to say about the man. Unlike Matthew Barney: No Restraint, which functioned as a skeleton to the work of a mythical artist, this film offers a broad overview into the life and work of its subject, lensed in a sun- and smoke-filled haze by director Pappi Corsicato.

A Private Portrait, though, doesn’t really dig much deeper than simply providing a general look at Schnabel’s roots: a Brooklyn boy who was uprooted to Brownsville, Texas before moving back home to Manhattan where his swagger and bravado rocketed him to stardom in the ’70s and ’80s. It wasn’t until he was interviewed by an unnamed Polish filmmaker about

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Set To Debut At $90 million Domestically

Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew of miscreants are set to once again plunder the box office. The fifth installment in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead men Tell No Tales, is ready to make port with a $90 million debut.

The franchise has always been a tough competitor at the box office with two of the films, 2006’s Dead Man’s Chest, and 2011’s On Stranger Tides, pulling in over $1 billion worldwide each. Dead Man’s Chest, had an opening weekend of $135 million, with the third film, 2007’s At World’s End, opening to $114 million.

Does the $90 million dollar estimate for Dead Men Tell No Tales spell doom for its chances to hit exceed a billion dollars? Though it may seem low in comparison to what the earlier blockbusters in the franchise raked in, it shouldn’t worry fans or the studio. Excluding the first film in the series,
