When an inspector shows up and tells them that Jimmy and Christine can't live with Greg and Kim cause of zoning. So they make plans to leave. The inspector tells Greg that if they can get their neighbors to sign an waiver, Jimmy and Christine can stay but he keeps it to himself. When Kim gets upset that Christine's leaving, Greg tells them about the waiver. So while the girls go the neighbors who are easy, Greg and Jimmy have to get Walt, a guy whom they avoid like the plague, to sign.

Season 4, Episode 17: Greg and Jimmy's Criminals

Greg's boss agreed to mentor a convict at a work release program. Mr. Savitsky then passes the task to Greg who passes it to Jimmy. Jimmy has fun, so Greg gets another convict to mentor. As the four of them bond, things backfire.

Season 4, Episode 18: The Owner's Suite

Greg gets four tickets to the owner's suite for the Laker's game. Greg wants to take Kim & his parents. Greg's plans go awry when Kim & his mother back out, so Jimmy & his father go. Jimmy & his father have more fun than Greg & his father.

Season 4, Episode 19: The Premiere

When Greg decides not to attend a movie premiere, Jimmy takes his ticket and goes there. He tells someone he meets that the movie was lousy. What he doesn't know is that the person he was talking to, is the movie's director, Kevin Smith. So he complains to Mr. Savitsky who in turn calls Greg in to rip him a new one. But Jimmy tells Greg what happened so they tell Savitsky, who tells Jimmy to pretend to be Greg and apologize to Smith.

Kim wants to change the design of the fireplace but Greg does not want to help. He also does not want to do it because she will end up involving Greg anyway. Kim hires a decorator to prove she does not need Greg's help at all.

At the studio, a piano almost falls on Jimmy. After escaping death, Jimmy goes through his box of "stuff" and finds a list of items he wanted to achieve when he got older. He begins to try accomplishing items still to do.

Kim invites friends of hers and Christine's over, but does not want Christine & Jimmy to be there. Christine is upset and crashes the Warner's dinner. Since one of the friends is a marriage counselor, he tries to help the two couples.

Greg used film of Christine and Jimmy's wedding to create one video as a gift to them. The video includes not just the wedding, but preparations, family comments, and the fact that Jimmy was hesitant and Greg accidentally proposed to Kim.

Mr. Savitsky has a DUI and asks Jimmy to be his driver. Jimmy invites him over for dinner to Greg's place and Mr. Savitsky has such a good time he invites Jimmy and his family to move into his home. Life is good, until it is too much.

Greg goes with Kim, Christine, and Jimmy to their high school reunion. Greg gets mistaken for a cool kid that attended the school; he enjoys the popularity. Jimmy gets jealous because he was always the coolest kid in school.

Greg loses another assistant at the studio, so as Christine finishes up at college, she gets the job as Greg's assistant. Christine quickly finds out why all the assistants quit ... Kim expects them to do jobs for her as well as Greg.

Christine calls Jimmy and starts rambling. Jimmy tunes her out until she asks if something is OK. He has no idea what she said. Turns out she realized it and set him up with a list of tasks. Kim joins in on the prank.

The house next door becomes available for sale. Jimmy & Christine plan to place a bid on it. Greg & Kim would rather have an upscale couple living there. The upscale couple gets the house, but then the Hughes and Warners drive then off.

Now that Jimmy & Christine are in their own home, they start to make changes. Jimmy wants to cut the lemon tree in his back yard, but Greg does not want him to do it. To cut or not cut turns into a childish war.

Jimmy's father is in town helping Jimmy & Christine with home improvements. Greg's father is in town to participate in Senior Olympics. Big Jimmy decides to compete in the Olympics against Greg's father.

Greg lost his job at the movie studio and is depressed. Meanwhile Kim finds a damaged wall in the house which reveals water damage and mold. The Warners have to stay with the Hughes while the house is being repaired.

Season 6, Episode 1: The Radford Reshuffle

When a new man takes over the studio, his first act is to fire some people and among the people he lets go is Savitsky. Upset at how he's being treated, he asks Greg to come with him and they'll start over together. But when he has a health scare, Savitsky decides to retire leaving Greg unemployed. But when Greg is barred from the studio, he has to find a way to get in so he can beg for his job back, which won't be easy.

A friend brings some barbecue and everyone agrees it is delicious. Greg wants to buy more, but the restaurant is in the hood. Greg overcomes his fear and goes to buy some. When Greg runs late, Jimmy is afraid. Greg plays a trick on him.

Now that Jimmy & Christine are homeowners, they have become the popular family in the neighborhood. Greg does not care but Kim is upset. Kim throws a party to show they are just as popular.

After seeing a friend's new baby, both Christine and Kim want another child. Both Jimmy and Greg do not want another child and try to avoid sex. Christine and Kim think of devious ways to have sex.

Greg and Jimmy hire a limo for dinner and a Rascal Flatts concert for the wedding anniversaries. It goes bad when the dinner reservations run late and they miss the concert. It gets better when Rascal Flatts mistakenly get in their limo.
