Cult actor admits that True Blood was considerably more enjoyable to make than Danish Killing remake
Finding a crime drama fan that didn't watch Forbrydelsen (The Killing) earlier this year is like finding a train-spotter without a notepad. But for Michelle Forbes, crime fan and heavyweight actor of the genre, there was a good reason for not watching; she was cast in the Us remake of the show and didn't want her performance to be influenced.
Forbes plays Mitch (rolls off the tongue more easily, but not as prettily, as Pernille) Larsen, the mother of Rosie Larsen, a high school student who has been mysteriously killed. Mitch's mourning delivers – just as Pernille's did – a glimpse into a world of pain most people can't begin to fathom.
"I didn't watch the show, and still haven't watched it, because I would never want to touch another actor's hard work," Forbes explains, »

Jeff Bridges is currently in negotiations to co-star with Ryan Reynolds on the live-action horror/comedy “R.I.P.D.”, based on the comic book of the same name. If the deal goes through, Bridges would be replacing Zach Galifianakis, who left the project when the start of production date became too flexible due to Reynolds’, well, gazillion other commitments. Like, you know, that intergalactic green cop guy, for one. Robert Schwentke, who last directed the aging spy action/comedy “Red”, will direct for Universal. The film is about “a police force comprised of undead officers,” and will be based on the comic book by veteran TV writer Peter M. Lenkov, who has written for the new “Hawaii Five-o”, “24″, and “The District”, among his many credits. Bridges and Reynolds will be playing partners in the supernatural comedy — a long-dead veteran and his freshly dead rookie. One guess which cop the fresh-faced Reynolds will be playing. »

Timothy Dalton will testify on behalf of Oksana Grigorieva against Mel Gibson. The Russian-born singer reportedly revealed to the former "James Bond" star, the father of her 14-year-old son Alexander, that the "Braveheart" star had hit her when he questioned her about bruises on her face.
In a letter to Eric George, the son of California's former chief justice, on June 3, 2010, Oksana stated that both "Licence to Kill" star Timothy and her facialist Mady Shany are willing to testify on her behalf.
