65 million years in the making, Jurassic Park is still as popular today as it was 22 years ago. Despite two sequels that provided diminishing – though far from terrible – financial returns in 1997 and 2001, the franchise came roaring back to life this summer with Jurassic World, the staggering success of which proved that the world still very much holds the series dear all these years later.
With another sequel on the way for 2018, the future of the franchise is brighter than ever, but for years all us fans had to tide us over was the original trilogy. Between Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III, many cast members have come and gone from the series, their characters taking part in numerous unforgettable and iconic moments that we’ll never forget even as time continues to push them further into the past.

“I cannot say enough about how Bob Iger and Alan Horn have understood this thing that is now part of the Disney company. And they’re not trying to Disney-fy it, they’re not doing anything other than, I think, an incredibly smart thing, which is letting Kathleen Kennedy — who is a remarkable person and producer — run and lead Lucasfilm to a place where I think it wants to go. They let us make the movie we wanted to make,” director J.J. Abrams said earlier this month during a one-hour talk (watch below in full), also confirming he has final cut on Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
While that final cut, clocking in at two hours and 16 minutes, is still just under two months away, today brings a new preview. Disney have now released the final trailer for the film, initially premiering on Monday Night Football, along with tickets available worldwide — that is, »

With under two months until the release of a little film titled Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney is now gearing up for their marketing onslaught after things have been relatively quiet from their side. In case you missed the debut yesterday, we have high-resolution of both the official theatrical poster and banner image (just click each of the images to download).
Many have wondered about the absence of Luke Skywalker, which sounds like a great surprise to be left for the viewing experience. Also worthy of note is Michael Arndt getting co-writing credit on the screenplay, even though Lawrence Kasdan and J.J. Abrams took over. There’s also Daisy Ridley’s Rey front and center, while Adam Driver‘s Kylo Ren gets top billing after the returning main trio, if you’d like a hint for which of the ensemble will likely get the most screen time.
