25 August 2010 1:50 AM, PDT | Celebrity Mania | See recent Celebrity Mania news »

Justin Bieber has been snapped getting investigated on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". After previously captured playing around on the set of the CBS hit series, the "Baby" hitmaker is pictured getting serious for his appearance on the police procedural series. This time around, the photos take a look at how he really got into his character.

Two of the photos have the "One Less Lonely Girl" singer sharing screen with series regular George Eads, who portrays Nick Stokes. One takes a look at his character Jason McCann getting his cheek swabbed for DNA, while another one sees Jason staring down at a can of soda while Nick opens the can for him.

On the series, 16-year-old Justin has been scheduled to play "a troubled young man." His character plot reveals that Jason is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. »

Neil Patrick Harris wins two Emmys

2010 Creative Arts Emmy winners, facts & figures (Pdf)

Sure, HBO cleaned up as usual. But Emmy also met a lot of new faces at this year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

At the ceremony held Saturday inside the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, the cable network earned a total of 17 awards, namely for technical achievement in its epic miniseries "The Pacific," original film "Temple Grandin" and the musical event "The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert," which earned seven, two and three awards respectively.

But in between the cable giant's expected haul were fresh faces that livened up an awards telecast once lovingly dubbed as "The Schemmys" by last year's host and 2010 nominee, Kathy Griffin. (No host was on tap this year.)

"American Idol" host and perennial Emmy bridesmaid Ryan Seacrest collected his first-ever statuette for his role as producer on "Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, »

Exclusive: True Blood's Lauren Bowles Talks Holly Clearly and Season 3 Finale

20 August 2010 10:04 AM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Lauren Bowles takes us behind-the-scenes of HBO's hit series, its last three episodes, and into season 4

True Blood has become a phenomenon over the course of three seasons on HBO. The show only has two more episodes left before season three comes to its shocking conclusion on September 12th with Episode 3.12: Evil is Going On. But before that happens, there's quite a bit more story to tell. Much of which centers around new cast addition Lauren Bowles, who plays Holly Clearly, a single mother and burgeoning Wiccan that has recently joined the wait staff at Merlotte's.

Though important to the ongoing storyline that will take us through the season ending climax and into season four, Lauren is contractually shackled and committed to silence on the subject matter of all things True Blood. She can't tell us too much about Holly Clearly and her intentions. But we did get her »

The 10 Most Promising New TV Shows of Fall 2010

19 August 2010 5:47 PM, PDT | HollywoodChicago.com | See recent HollywoodChicago.com news »

Chicago – The broadcast network rookie class of 2009 was one of the best of all time with “Community,” “Glee,” “Modern Family,” “The Good Wife,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “The Middle,” and “Cougar Town” finding loyal fans. Even relative (and mostly canceled) missteps like “FlashForward,” “V,” “Mercy,” and “Melrose Place” were interesting disasters. Will the upcoming season continue the pattern or drop the broadcast nets back into the misery of being unable to find a new hit?

Don’t get your hopes up. Having seen at least rough cuts of all of the new programs except for the still-in-production “Law & Order: Los Angeles,” we can say without a doubt that this upcoming freshmen class will not produce the same number of all-stars as last year. Even the majority of the ten shows below are going to require some tinkering to stand out. It should be noted that most of what we’ve seen »

Justin Bieber Shoots You A Creepy Stare In Bizarre 'C.S.I.' Promo

19 August 2010 7:37 AM, PDT | MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news »

Hey readers... I've got a question for you. When did "C.S.I." become a showcase for all things oddball? The newly released season 11 preview runs through the strange things that the crime scene investigators team has covered in previous years. Furries? Vamps? Hairy bodies?

Things I definitely saw in the promo, and wouldn't have expected: A dude with a lizard face. Some kind of scene set on a "Star Trek"-like bridge. A corpse with long, multicolored sticks protruding from it (think psychedelic acupuncture gone overboard). A woman shoots a bullet out of her finger.

Also, Justin Bieber. I expected that, but he sure does look creepy here. Hit the jump for the promo.
