Storyline

Jimmy War Eagle is a basketball superstar flying disaster relief money to flood victims in Central America when his plane crashes in a storm. he buries the cash, and is eventually rescued by people from a mysterious village on an island called Paradise Island, which seems to float in the middle of a lake (in actuality, a real town pictured now and then in publications like National Geographic). He is befriended by a Priest and falls in love with the beautiful Maria, but local layabouts Mano and Koki hear about the treasure. They steal the sheriff's gun, kidnap Maria and try to steal it. The most obscure movie ever?
27 June 2013 | by See all my reviews

My father was an investor in this movie which was a vanity project for Milt Farney. Milt was a fairly accomplished cameraman and a very charismatic guy. He talked all his private pilot friends into investing in this movie and then providing services.

No one made a dime off this movie but everyone involved had a great time, I heard! My father was even in one scene piloting his Beech Bonanza.

The investors were treated to a screening at an obscure Hollywood editing facility. The project was a joke from start to finish, and everyone knew it. I suppose someone got a nice tax write-off from it.

Kudos to Milt, who was the ultimate salesman.
