Sony Pictures has decided to move forward with a sequel to last year's "Grown Ups" comedy, which starred Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider as five friends who reunite over the 4th of July weekend. Sandler has never appeared in a sequel. And while his production company is developing "Grown Ups 2," he has yet to make a deal to star in it. His involvement will heavily depend on the script, which is already being written by Fred Wolf (Grown Ups, Black Sheep, Joe Dirt). "Grown Ups" costs $80 million to make and went on to gross $162 million domestically and another $109 million internationally. »
It sounds like another possibly happy reunion for these friends. Variety has reported that Sony Pictures and Happy Madison Production are in negotiations with “Grown Ups” writer Fred Wolf to pen the sequel to the comedy. The original “Grown Ups” starred Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider. It is about five old schoolmates who reunited for a weekend after their basketball coach died. If Sandler decides to revisit “Grown Ups,” then it would be Sandler’s first appearance in any sequel. “Grown Ups” is the highest grossing for Sandler with a worldwide theater gross of $271 million. Wolf has written some material for “Saturday Night Live” shows in the past. He wrote several comedies for Happy Madison Productions, including “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star,” “Strange Wilderness,” and “Joe Dirt.”Source: Variety »
You can never have too many reunions with childhood pals, right?
Adam Sandler and friends might be headed for another middle-aged adventure as Sony Pictures and Happy Madison Productions are in talks with "Grown Ups" scribe Fred Wolf to write a sequel, according to Variety.
"Grown Ups" starred Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider as childhood friends who come together over a Fourth of July weekend to attend the funeral of their youth basketball coach. The film, released in June 2010, is Sandler's highest grossing comedy to date, earning over $227 million in worldwide box office.
If "Grown Ups 2" comes together, it will be Sandler's first-ever sequel. No word on which original cast members would be back for the second reunion, though we're betting it will be all of them.

So somebody got a tattoo with cursive and butterflies, and it’s apparently in homage to Ashton Kutcher of That 70′s Show and Twitter. It says “Ashton Kutcher i love you love is forever fan love you,” which might have been something lost in translation? Because those words don’t make sense together, but you just do, person. Like you, I was initially baffled at how somebody could permanently etch some nonsense about the guy from Dude, Where’s My Car? into her skin. But then I remembered that, oh yeah, I have the face of Bea Arthur eternally plastered onto my left bicep. So joke’s on me, but not really because my tattoo is beautiful (and contains not a trace of irony, which is evident by my DVR, which is 99% Golden Girls, 1% House Hunters)! In fact, it’s the 25th 25 Most Hardcore Celebrity Tattoo on our list of …wait for it… »

Actress Jaime Pressly has spoken out for the first time about her recent double drama, insisting her DUI arrest and impending divorce are not connected.
The Joe Dirt star has pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence (DUI), stemming from an arrest last month. She was taken into custody by police in Santa Monica, California on 5 January after struggling to complete a field sobriety test. Her car had initially been pulled over for a suspected traffic violation.
Pressly, who was reportedly almost three times over the legal blood alcohol limit, was released on $15,000 (£10,000) bail and subsequently charged with two counts of DUI.
She entered her plea during a court hearing at a Los Angeles County courtroom on 4 February and is next due in court on 18 March.
If convicted, the actress faces up to six months in jail.
Meanwhile, Pressly reportedly owes $637,149 (£424,766) in unpaid taxes. She is also in the midst of divorcing entertainment lawyer Simran Singh.
But she's upset that people are linking her marriage to her other problems - and she wants to protect her three-year-old son from the lies.
She tells U.S. TV news show Extra, "People are thinking my divorce is happening because of the (DUI and tax) situation. Truth is, these are all isolated incidents."
She's also upset about remarks that have been made in the media about her parental skills in the wake of her current issues, stating, "(These are) ridiculously unkind and untrue (allegations). I don't ever want my son to grow up and read all these false statements.
"(My husband and I) fell in love quickly. We got married very quickly. It didn't work out the way we wanted to. There's nothing more to it." »
