David Spade is spilling on one of our favorite '90s tabloid tales. In an interview for the September issue of Details magazine, the 51-year-old Just Shoot Me star revealed that, back in the late nineties, Jack Nicholson swooped in and asked out then-girlfriend Lara Flynn Boyle. "Nicholson asked Lara Flynn Boyle out in front of me while we were all smoking a doob somewhere," Spade dished to the publication. "She got mad because I didn't stick up for her. I said, 'I've been in this town long enough to know when I'm outranked. You're either gonna go out with him or you're not.'" According to the Joe Dirt star, "she [Flynn] goes, 'No way. »
This past week at the D23 Disney Exposition Event, a ton of news regarding the future of Disney franchises was unveiled including the announcement that a Big Hero 6 world will be featured in Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts III.
With the inclusion of Tangled and Big Hero 6 in Sora’s latest adventure, the speculation of which other Disney franchises could join in on the fun is running wild. Let’s take a look at some of the Disney films that would fit well in the universe of Kingdom Hearts.
We won’t be including acquired franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, Studio Ghibli or the Muppets neither will we be including Pixar films or else the list would be never ending! Rather let’s focus on Disney films which have a big fanbase or a fitting aesthetic that have unfortunately been omitted in previous installments of Kingdom Hearts. »

Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, 2015.
Directed by Fred Wolf.
When happy family man Joe Dirt finds himself transported to the recent past, he begins an epic journey to get back to his loved ones in the present.
It’s been fourteen years now since Joe Dirt came out, during which the film has garnered a small cult following despite the fact that it’s not the greatest comedy to ever hit the sceen. I’ll be the first to admit that while I don’t find the original particularly good, there are some parts that do make me laugh and it’s something I can throw on everyone once in a while. Now here we are in 2015 and for whatever reason we’re getting a sequel that I’m pretty sure nobody asked for. We »

Crackle’s Joe Dirt film is a made-for-digital sequel to the hit 2001 film starring David Spade as the titular mullet-wearing Southern redneck “hero.” Produced by Adam Sandler’s Happy Madision Productions and directed by the original Joe Dirt lead Fred Wolf, Joe Dirt 2 tells the story of Joe as he travels through central America (and, apparently, his mind) to find his family.

Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield are coming back. At least they hope to. I can exclusively reveal that Brittany and Cynthia Daniel are developing a reboot of Sweet Valley High, their 1990s television series based on Francine Pascal's book franchise of the same name. "There is some talk right now," Brittany told me last night at the premiere of Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, a sequel to David Spade's 2001 mullet classic, Joe Dirt. "We're actually going to have some conversations with Francine." The twin sisters, now 39, starred as the Wakefield girls on the show, which ran for four seasons between 1994 and 1997. "That series means so much to my sister and I »

The first full trailer for the Crackle-exclusive cult classic sequel Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser has arrived in a Hemi-powered vehicle, delivering the 14 year-in-the-making return of David Spade.s wayward redneck. Besides destroying decorum regarding contemporary hair styles, it looks like Joe will be breaking the space-time continuum! The original Joe Dirt from 2001 ended on what would have to be as definitive of a happy ending as there could be. He gets the girl, reunites with his friends, and leaves a bully literally in the dust. However, it seems that .ole Joe, like a Def Leppard-loving Dorothy, finds himself whisked away from his loving family by a tornado to an exotic and mysterious land of sorts. Now, the happy-go-lucky loser whose haircut.s party in the back is matched by business buffoonery in the front will find himself a mulleted Marty McFly, stuck in the year 1965. Essentially catching us »
My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over. Joe Dirt is back. "Doesn't get much gooder than this," he says. That's debatable, but the fact remains that he's all in all the time – again. But the ultra-mulleted, ultra-uncool character who first hit the big screen 14 years ago is not coming to a theater near you. No, Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser is the first digital sequel to a major studio film, and Sony’s Crackle will start streaming the David Spade spectacle… »
A new red-band trailer for Joe Dirt 2 has been released, and no this is not a test. Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser is a real movie that was shot with real actors and will be debuting in front of real eyeballs this summer. The follow-up to the 2001 comedy brings back most of the cast, surprisingly enough, and also throws time travel into the mix. While living his “perfect life”, Dirt gets sucked into a tornado and is transported to the year 1965, Wizard of Oz-style. The story finds David Spade’s character attempting to get back to the present while ensuring that history—and thus his future—remains unchanged. The most shocking part of this trailer is that Christopher Walken is in it, though it seems like the actor probably shot all of his scenes in one day. I was amused enough by the first film back in 2001, but my interest in this sequel is non-existent. »

The cinematic adaptation of HBO.s Hollywood comedy Entourage hits theaters this week, full to overflowing with celebrity cameos. They already had struggles with the MPAA, initially earning an Nc-17 rating, which is like a death sentence for a movie since many theaters won.t screen them, but David Spade didn.t help their cause, trying to squeeze dirty jokes about Jennifer Lawrence into his scene. The Hollywood Reporter put together a series of quick interviews with celebs who show up in Entourage, asking them what it was like to play a version themselves. When asked about something funny that happened on set, the Joe Dirt star replied: The set was on a studio lot and I just kept trying different jokes mostly about how great Jennifer Lawrence's boobs are. So I have no idea what made it into the movie. Most of us will have to wait until »
Sure, there's probably hundreds of millions of people waiting to see The Avengers: Age of Ultron, but the real sequel that everyone is waiting for just delivered it's first teaser trailer. After bringing the mullet-wearing janitor and orphan Joe Dirt to the big screen, David Spade is back in Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser. The sequel may not be necessary, but David Spade told EW that the original film is one of the most talked about films from his fans who interact with him on Twitter and Instagram, besides the stuff he did with Chris Farley. And now 14 years later, the film is coming. But this teaser trailer is just awful. Watch! As threatened last autumn, Sony's online streaming platform Crackle has seized the dubious opportunity of producing the first ever straight-to-digital sequel: a very belated follow-up to David Spade's 2001 cult comedy Joe Dirt. Now Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser "finally" exists, and here's a teaser trailer to prove it. And look: they got Christopher Walken! The original Joe Dirt saw the titular drifter on the road, ostensibly looking for his parents but gradually adopting a new family of similar misfits. It was basically a lot like The Outlaw Josey Wales but without the shooting or the excellence. You won't glean this from the clip, but the sequel apparently involves time travel: Joe is somehow transported back to the recent past and undertakes a quest to get back to his happy family in the present. "Beautiful Losers" is also the title of a Leonard Cohen novel. Be sure not to get the two confused. »
