Great sequel to a classic
Sabre_Wolf8 March 2012
I loved this sequel when I finally got to play it after many years the storyline is great especially with the main character being wrongfully disgraced and demoted then finally getting chances to clear his name and earn the respect and trust of those who view him with suspicion especially Admiral Geoffrey Tolwyn. Also the screenplay is better.

Also they expanded on the character of Jeanette 'Angel' Devereaux and Mariko 'Spirit' Tanaka given them more background and/or humanity and the romance between the main character and Angel was a good touch.

One thing I liked best about this was how it introduced someone who was in my mind at least one of the greatest villains in gaming history: Prince Thrakath nar Kiranka also his cousin Khasra was an interesting villain.

Also had other interesting villains including the human traitors including the Society of Mandarin's.

The only thing I have to complain about this game was the bad novels that had Jason 'Bear' Bondarevesky as a main character in the horrible William R. Forstchen novels End Run and Fleet Action he also appeared in a few others by Forstchen that were just as bad.

Overall this was a good game and it furthered the storyline greatly also the space combat was great though I despised the Ferret class fighter how that piece of crap got into service let alone in war time I have no idea.
