Did You Know?

There are references to every Indiana Jones film in the game (except for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), which was made after this game):
  • In the Algerian dig site, there is a depiction of the Ark of the Convenant from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) on one of the walls (Indy aptly remarks that he has seen that before). The giant stone boulder that features in the labyrinth on Crete is another reference to this movie.

  • On the shelf in Indy's office at Barnett College, their is a Thugee idol. The Thugees were Indy's adversaries in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984).

  • In one of the Atlantean chambers, there is a stone cup to which Indy remarks that it is definitely not the cup of a carpenter, a reference to the Holy Grail from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). The "X marks the spot" on Crete is another nod to this movie.

Best adventure game ever!

OK, perhaps you don't believe it. You MUST play this game in order to know how good a storyline can be and how great puzzles can be designed. But the main great point in the game is the character and his whip, his relationship with a woman, Sophia, and the incredible ending. Get it! Now it's much cheaper!
