J.S. Cardones 2001 bloodsucker tale The Forsaken has a few really good things going for it. Actor Johnathon Schaech (remember that really disturbing mommyson flick Hush Well this is son) makes for a nasty villain who plays up vampirism with conviction there are a few scenes that showcase some pretty gnarly practical special effects and Steven Bernstein is a very very seasoned and skilled Dp.
