Trivia

The game contains a large number of visual references to the "Pirates Of The Carribean" ride at Disneyland, as well as at least one puzzle inspired by the ride's famous Jail Cell/Dog With Keys scene. "Pirates Of The Carribean" was a huge inspiration for Ron Gilbert in developing the ambiance of the first two Monkey Island games. Gilbert's other big inspiration was the book "On Stranger Tides" by Tim Powers. See more »

Guybrush Threepwood: A woodchuck should chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood, as long as a woodchuck would chuck wood.

Great! Strange but Hilarious all the time!

So, after it's opeining sequence, we see Guybrush (once again) telling the tale of how he defeated LeChuck. The Story is starting to get old. So, soon he's off in search for a new one. The fabulous treasure of Big Whoop. Soon he find's LeChuck is back and is after him after literally "GIVING" a piece that could bring LeChuck back. Over all it's a great game with characters you can relate to.
