Of GAIA and humanity's place in the ecology

This is a short produced by the Hubley Studio. There will be spoilers ahead:

This is a tree hugger short. Since I am a tree hugger (I'm fond of breathing oxygen) I applaud the basic sentiment here, that mankind is part of the ecology and should take care of the planet and the wider ecology. I'm not in fear for the planet. The Earth will be fine. It's us shaved apes with opposable thumbs who should be worried.

This is a typical short produced by the Hubley Studio at the time, with very good voice work and an excellent blend of animation and score. It's a nice short which is well worth watching.

This short is available on the Hubley Collection Volume 1 DVD and the DVD is well worth tracking down. Recommended.
