Poker at Dawson City (1899)

This Edison film was directed by James H. White and appears to have been a staged production instead of actual footage from Dawson City. It clocks in just over twenty seconds and we see a group of men basically spilling drinks on themselves. Apparently this was the aftermath of some sort of issue that came up in a card game.

There's certainly nothing ground-breaking that you're going to witness here and there's certainly no plot. Fans of these early movies will at least get a kick out of the "action" going on. The cinematography is quite good though.
