A sexy, gritty, hip and contemporary "film noir".

The film is reminiscent of Orson Welles' "Lady From Shanghai"; a dark and sexy tale about a femme fatale and the fellows destined to fall for her. The film has the feel of a student picture, albeit a really good one. This adds to the urban "realness" of the film. There are fantastic shots of New York City rarely seen on the screen (the "back streets" of Brooklyn and the Lower East Side shot in all their squalor).
