First, to clear things up. This movie is NOT Horror oriented. The plot deals with Lucifer but in such a dramatic and almost soap-operish manner. The plot deals with a man (Salazar) that is deeply in love with a beautiful singer (the wonderful Sara Montiel); but she's not on his league so he decides to make a pact with Lucifer in order to get the singer to fall in love with him. So the deal is done and that's when the plot develops. The movie is filmed in the likes of a theater play; you can clearly say that because of the acting and direction. Also, the musical moments in the movie are very theater like. Those musical moments totally give you an idea of the atmosphere of the movie. The rest of the movie deals with the romantic couple and their economical and personal interests. So if you are looking for a Horror movie; go look elsewhere. This is more of a tale of love that had the good taste to involve Lucifer. Not a great movie if you ask me, but it's a delight to watch Mrs. Montiel, Salazar, and the great Lòpez Moctezuma.
