I do very much like G rated family shows like "The Muppet Christmas Carol", "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", "Popeye"(80), "Frog", "The Secret Garden", "Mary Poppins", "The Sound of Music", "Fiddler on the Roof", "The Wizard of Oz", and "Anne of Green Gables"; and I like "A Bug's Life", "Chicken Run", "It's Grinch Night", and "Shrek".
But----"We Wish You a Merry Christmas", although it had good morals and brought a few tears to my eyes, also:
1. Was too 'cutesy', and most of the people were so 'sweet' it was like eating a pound of sugar straight. (It was so embarrassing I had to fast-forward through some of it).
2. Was illogical (the kids learned music much too fast for one thing).
3. Had stupid dialog.
4. Repeated the main song so often, it became annoying.
I gave it 3/10.
