Most hilarious Tamil movie
9 December 2007 | by (India) – See all my reviews

This is indisputably the hilarious movie ever made in Tamil. In an era that favoured melodrama and patriotic stories, this would have been a fresh breeze. Why this team of Meyyappan and Krishnaswami did not continued the feat is a subject worth investigation. While TR Ramachandran scores with his ignorance, Kali N Rathnam steals the show with his innocence. Even a small character like 'Dosai Raman' is unique and hilarious in its own inimitable manner. The teacher and his wife reminds of the characters that comes in the grandma bedtime stories. It is a sad fact that this file did not become a trend setter paving way for more such films. This movie is neither a laugh riot all the way nor too subtle for front benchers. It has something for all the class that will keep you coming out smiling from the theater.
