This is the GAME!
7 April 2001 | by (USA) – See all my reviews

Mad Dog McCree was the first of American Laser Games arcade games to skyrocket to greatness. Believe me, if you're a kid looking at all the boring 2D fight games around the early '90s it was startling to see a game with "real people" in it. It's a live action movie with the player battling bad cowboys in the old west. It all comes down to a mighty showdown with Mad Dog himself! You can even shoot some liquor bottles for fun! However, since it's a recorded movie there is little replay value except for some randomness where the enemies appear. The performances are top notch, although they are a bit funny looking back today. If you find this game on PC, Sega CD, or anything else it was released on...PICK IT UP! I still have my CD-ROM after all these years. (Including Mad Dog 2, Who Shot Johnny Rock?, Last Bounty Hunter, Crime Patrol, Drug Wars)
