Over the spring of 2000, sixteen average Americans (divided into two tribes which eventually merge into one) were sequestered on the deserted island of Pulau Tiga for 39 days. For their stay, they must learn to live as a tribe, although eventually, it is everyone for themselves. They compete in challenges for "luxuries" (a barbecue, a phone call home, etc.) and immunity. Every three days, the losers of the latter challenges must face tribal council, where they will account for their actions by voting one person off of the island. At the end of day 39, there will be only one survivor left who will leave the island with one million dollars. Based on the Swedish game show, "Operation Robinson." Written by
First of all, the old guy's name is JAKE not JACK (Which was posted earlier..)
Ok, I thought the first episode was so-so. I wasn't too thrilled with the way they chose their teams, but it made things different and definately caused some arguments. I still can't believe that the people on Chuay Gahn aren't upset with Jan for picking the teams like that. Ok, when you want to win challanges you DONT pick the oldest/non athletic people, you pick the younger, athletic people. I really hope that Jan will be voted out soon, just because SHE is pulling down her tribe. Her and Helen, going to look for water WITHOUT a map?? Come on, people, you're not going to see street signs out there, how do you expect to find the water when everything looks the same? Also, Robb seems to be an interesting character, with taking a SKATEBOARD as a luxury item which will get a lot of use, i'm sure (sarcastic)
Anyways, with all the dumb things people do on this show, its entertaining to say the least. Good Show.
